Preposition 1
This category refers to questions that have problems with individual prepositions.
There are two main types of preposition problems.
1. An incorrect preposition is used.
Ex. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you last week and talking over (A) the project that (B) we will be working in (C)
together next year to (D) ensure mutual benefit.
In this example, C is incorrect; “in” should be “on”.
2. A preposition is omitted.
Ex. Most (A) the environmental hazards are caused by (B) human activities and lack of (C) awareness towards
conservation of (D) the environment.
In this example, A is incorrect, “most the” should be “most of the”.
